Alamo Pottery Figurine, Swan Planter in Blue!

This is Alamo Pottery from San Antonio Texas, from about 1948 to 1952, and it is a planter in the shape of a swan, numbered 725 on the bottom. This figural planter is about 5 1/4" tall and is made of a high fired porcelain like a vitreous china. The glaze is blue with light and dark shading, and the blue extends only partly down the inside. The blue is more mellow than my monitor shows. This piece has no damage, and is an excellent representation of the quality of work done at Alamo.
